Who we are

Our history...
The Campeggio Comunale San Nicolò opened its doors back in 1959 and in the course of more than 60 years has become a popular tourist destination on the shores of Lake Garda, appreciated by thousands of visitors every year. The campsite was originally used as a football pitch and during the summer months was transformed into a camping area for tents.
Over the years, the campsite underwent significant developments. Initially, pitches for motorhomes were introduced and, in the early 1990s, the first mobile homes were added.
...until today
The campsite is constantly striving to offer new solutions; the most recent innovation is the Coco Glamping, opened in 2020, which combines the comfort of a mobile home with the ‘wilder’ experience of a tent.
The management of Camping San Nicolò has been entrusted to the Bardolino Top Foundation since 2010.

Nature and sustainability
The green soul of Camping San Nicolò
Camping San Nicolò is in close contact with nature. The area where the campsite is located is now protected to maintain the balance of the Lake Garda ecosystem. The reeds here along the beach play an important role in maintaining the ecological balance. The reeds also prevent erosion by purifying the water and providing shelter for various animal species.
Respectful coexistence with the local fauna is encouraged. We have taken measures to minimize our environmental impact, including the use of photovoltaic solar panels, LED lighting and separate collection.
